Jarvis Green, Jamal Williams Visiting Broncos

March 8, 2010

Josina Anderson of FOX31 and Lindsay Jones are reporting that the Broncos will meet with Patriots Defensive End Jarvis Green tonight at 10:30 pm. He will then stay the night, and finish his visit in Denver the following day.

Jarvis Green for years played backup in New England, but earlier this year got his first real shot at starting at the Defensive Line. While injuries haunted him throughout the year, he showed the potential to be a strong contributer to any 3-4 defense being built. He also worked with Josh McDaniels in New England, when McDaniels was their OC.

It also being reported that the Broncos will be working out Chargers Nose Tackle Jamal Williams according to the National Football Posts’ Michael Lombardi. He is expected to take a physical while he is there.

Williams for years worked with Defensive Line Coach Wayne Nunnely in San Diego. After he visits the Broncos, he will make a visit to the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints. We can all agree that this could become quite the line.
