Bengals Considering Marshall?

March 7, 2010

Adam Schefter just finished a spot on SportsCenter where he indicated that the Cincinnati Bengals may be seriously considering signing or trading for Brandon Marshall. Since the Broncos are not accepting calls though, it looks like they’d probably have to sign him. Following that he tweeted this:

While Denver’s restricted free-agent WR Brandon Marshall spent Sunday in Seattle, his name and future were being discussed in Cincinnati.

Then, only a few minutes after he tweeted the following:

@AdamSchefter: Bengals have contemplated pursuing Marshall. How serious the Bengals will be still is a matter of discussion within the organization.

This is great news. Even if it isn’t that serious, another suitor to pick up Brandon Marshall, really boosts his trade value and will definitely raise the price. With the Bengals making a play for him, it seems very possible that the Broncos could get a first rounder, like they want.

this is retarded! every other nfl teams fansites say there team is going after brandon marshall, there’s so many dumb rumors, i ever heard from “sources” that the chargers are talking to the broncos about him! ha! but ya never know… i heard that on a websites facebook page, but i don’t believe it, so much for him going 2 cincy… these are all lies, i don’t think any team will give up the price marshall will cost, so hopefully he’ll still be a bronco in 2010! =)
