Jarvis Green Drawing Interest From Broncos

March 5, 2010

Patriots Defensive End Jarvis Green is reportedly drawing interest from the Denver Broncos according to Tom Curran of CSNNE.com. Green played in New Englands’ 3-4 Defense when Josh McDaniels was their Offensive Coordinator.

Greens’ agent when asked who is after Green responded with this quote: “We’ve gotten some calls from other teams so far, but it’s the Broncos and Patriots right now,” said Albert Elias. “We’re not going to take visits just to take visits.”

Green weighs in at 6-3 and 285 pounds but still has been very productive as a Defensive End in a 3-4 defensive scheme. While he missed a good amount of games with a knee injury last season, in the past 7 years he has had 232 tackles and 28.o sacks.

Green would be a good pickup and would surely help contribute to our defense as either a backup or a starter. We’ll keep you updated on his status with the team throughout the day, over at our free agent tracker. Just click on the banner:
