Broncos Interested In Rex Hadnot

Free agency has begun, and only 40 minutes into it, there are rumors that the Broncos are looking into signing Center Rex Hadnot previously of the Cleveland Browns. This latest beat is coming from FOX31’s Josina Anderson, who says that the Broncos have shown “considerable interest” in Hadnot.

Anderson also learned that he may visit Dove Valley depending on the bidding negotiations that are taking place right now, over who will receive his services next season.

Rex Hadnot would replace Casey Wiegmann who the Broncos cut only a few days back, as they move to more of a zone blocking scheme. Whether he would be an immediate starter or not is unknown though.

Last season Hadnot played in nine games and started in six of them. He was inactive for a total of seven games after sustaining a knee injury in training camp. He right now is only 28 years old, and is one of the younger players in the class.
