Xanders Wants to Keep RFA’s.

March 3, 2010

The usually quiet Denver Broncos general manager Brian Xanders went out today after the announcing of the Restricted Free Agent tenders, and made it clear that the team would like to keep every one of the players that received tenders.

“Tendering these restricted free agents was a step we took to solidify our roster during these uncertain times with a group of players who are valued a great deal by the Broncos,” Xanders said. “These are all high-quality football players, and we look forward to their contributions during the 2010 season and beyond.”, probably phrased this the best. Brian Xanders has to say that. When you are a general manager you have to either tell everyone that you are looking to get rid of the player or you want to keep them. Obviously, Xanders thinks there can be a reasonable deal worked out with Brandon Marshall, so he’ll continue with this dialogue.

All will come clear Friday, where Bronco Madness will have all day coverage on both the blog and our twitter page @broncomadness. We look forward to seeing you there.
