Broncos @ Bengals Game Handbook

September 12, 2009

Picture 4The Broncos will be traveling to Paul Smith Stadium tomorrow to face off in their regular season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals and for any Broncos fan, there will be a lot of things to watch for. The biggest of course is Josh McDaniels and his first game as the head coach of the Denver Broncos replacing two time Super Bowl winner Mike Shanahan.

In honor of that, we are presenting something that we are calling Bronco Madness Game Handbooks. This has every single thing you need to know to be ready for the Broncos game day. I really think that you will enjoy this one stop shop for everything on the game. Here we go!

Expect Knowshon Moreno to get around 5-8 carries tomorrow. Anything more than that would surprise me and would be a bit risky. I would also expect to see Kyle Orton starting. Russ Hochstein should stand in for Chris Kuper if he is not available.

It’s expected to be EXTREMELY hot and humid in Cincy this week. You can definitely expect to see a few more players going out with cramps.

Laveranues Coles vs André Goodman: We all know about the basic Chad Ochocinco vs Champ Bailey matchup. But this matchup is between two of the best, most underrated free agent pick ups of the off-season. Not only that, but they are also two very good players to boot. This will be a pretty even matchup and if Goodman can avoid letting up any Touchdowns, it will be missioned accomplished.

Elvis Dumervil vs Andrew Whitworth: This could be like taking candy from a baby for Elvis Dumervil. Whitworth in my opinion is nothing special. Elvis Dumervil is. If Dumervil can get going early, he could have multiple sacks today. Expect a day full of pressure on QB Carson Palmer.
