Broncos’ May 26th OTA Report

May 26, 2009

ortoncladyThroughout the entire off-season, Bronco Madness is one of the only blogs that pulls together all the information relating to the OTA’s and Mini Camps. Here is the report for May 26th. Enjoy and keep it here for all the latest Mini Camp beat!

  • This week will focus on “passing camp” and getting Kyle Orton, Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, etc. ready for their season so they can understand the playbook.
  • Alphonso Smith is glad that this is starting and enjoying not having to focus on his academics too.
  • When asked about learning from Brian Dawkins on his first day of passing camp, Josh Barrett said that “You don’t even have to ask questions, but through his actions, through his demeanor you can pretty much pick up on a lot of stuff.”
  • The defensive backs are focusing on getting more turnovers from the offense.
  • Matt Prater is doing a lot of focusing on his film but is not changing his technique very much. He also feels more comfortable with such a consistent snapper in Lonnie Paxton.

I was just now looking for info about this when I came by your post. I’m just dropping by to say that I very much liked reading this post. Are you planning to write more on this? It looks like there is more fodder here for future posts. 🙂
