It looks like both of Bus Cook’s clients may be on their way out of Denver. While no one knows for sure how the Jay Cutler situation will end, it is looking increasingly more likely that Tony Scheffler will be traded after they put him on the trading block this afternoon.

According to Pro Football Weekly, the Broncos are entertaining offers for Scheffler. It is believed that Josh McDaniels does not think he will fit in his system, as e prefers more of a blocking-oriented tight end. Sources have said that the Broncos are not dead set on trading Scheffler, but if the right deal came along, they would likely pull the trigger.

Scheffler, a 6-5, 250 pound TE from Western Michigan is seen as a receiving tight end, as he has totaled 1,480 yards and 12 touchdowns in his three seasons in the NFL. The Broncos are expected to use Daniel Graham as the predominant starting TE, with Scheffler’s spot being taken over by a third wide receiver in McDaniels’ system.

It doesn’t come as a surprise. All signs pointed to him leaving, but the question is now who will he go to? I could see Buffalo, and Cleveland as potential suitors but I am not sure.

McDaniels is an idiot. I can’t wait for him to fail the first year and get canned.

Bus Cook clients are having their options reduced in the NFL as the teams they “don’t like and are big meanies” are:

Cleveland – Eric Mangini is a big meanie
New York Jets – Bretty Favre didn’t “enjoy his year in NY”, they’re meanies
Denver – Josh Mc Daniels was super duper mean to JC and TS
Green Bay – they were so mean to BF

Tony Scheffler is a good guy though… I wish him well wherever he can “fit in to a system”
