Cutler Not Expected To Attend Team Meeting

As of yesterday, Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels and Jay Cutler finally had a face to face meeting before Cutler decided not to attend a roast for the teams trainer. (And no we do not mean a The Office kind of a roast.)

The problem is things did not seem to go well between McDaniels and Cutler. According to both CBS4 in Denver and the Denver Post, serious problems remain. Klis even said that there was absolutely no reconciliation between the two parties and they are nowhere near settling the situation.

It has gotten to the extent where Cutler is not expected to attend the team meeting that will kick off Josh McDaniels head coaching career. If you ask me, here is what happened: Josh McDaniels stuck to his guns and did not give into Cutler. He most likely made it clear that no player on his team will be considered indispensable.

And I don’t blame him. Jay Cutler needs to suck this up and be a man and a team leader. The big question that remains is how players on the team will act towards Josh McDaniels through the heat of all of this. I feel like he will gain the support of players like Eddie Royal, Ryan Clady, Champ Bailey, and of course Brian Dawkins.

But the jury is still out on key players such as Brandon Marshall, Peyton Hillis and Tony Scheffler. It should be interesting to see how this all plays out. Also on one final note, Bronco Madness will have a surprise for you Tuesday or Wednesday that I think you will all enjoy. So keep it here at Bronco Madness.
