Brandon Marshall Arrested… Again.

Brandon Marshall

Denver Broncos star wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who’s had a string of off-the-field brushes with the law, has had another. I think I speak for everybody when I say that this was the last thing I wanted/expected.

Marshall was arrested Sunday in Atlanta and booked into the Atlanta City Jail on a disorderly conduct charge. Details of the events leading to Marshall’s arrest are not known at this time. A supervisor at the jail would only tell ESPN’s John Barr that Marshall was involved in a fight.

Marshall posted a $300 bond and has been released. This is the fourth arrest for Marshall since March 2006. He was suspended last season by the NFL for three games (later reduced to one) for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

By the way, that was from ESPN. We had very little need for this in the drama of it all but let’s be certain here that this might just be a small little run in. I am very disappointed by this but because we do not know very much about this I am holding out judgement.

So McD comes to Denver, and everyone expects that he will make the Cutler-Marshall connection into the Brady-Moss connection of 2007. Now, Cutler is pissed at McD, and Marshall got arrestedand will probably be suspended. All before McD has even coached a game. He’s not startin off so hot.

actually i just got some news in (note that it is really preliminary and not very elaborate) but Brandon Marshall was innocent and falsely arrested according to ESPN. IF it’s true, maybe our luck is turning.

Yea they said the charges were dropped, but the Jay Cutler thing still sucks, even though I blame most of it on Jay Cutler. check my comment on the Jay post.
