Clint Sintim

Clint Sintim

Name: Clint Sintim

Position: Outside Linebacker

School: Virgina

Height & Weight: 6-3 / 254

Class: Senior

What I Think: Clint Sintim is a very interesting prospect in this years class who if he lands on the right team could be a very good NFL player. Sintim possesses prototypical outside linebacker size for the NFL. A good athlete, Sintim was a pass rush specialist for Virginia, finishing his career with 27 sacks. He could fit in either a 3-4 or a 4-3 in the NFL with his great physical tools. He is strong and very physical who can run over a player and can also gets around them and break blocks too. He is very aggressive and is quite strong in pursuit. Sintim is also very competitive. He can run hot and cold and gets a lot of his sacks in bunches. There are questions about Sintim’s ability to do anything more than get after the passer. Sintim never really asked to drop back in coverage and will have to learn that aspect of the game completely. I do not see him doing a good job of stopping the run and might be a better situational player. I could see him being a bit like Demarcus Ware in the NFL. He’ll need to learn how to drop back in coverage, which will scare some teams away. Sintim was given the Rock Weir Award winner for the defense as the most improved player during spring drills. He is a Third-team Freshman All-American by The Sporting News and an ACC All-Freshman Team by The Sporting News.
