Some more news has opened on possible candidates to fill the coaching vacancy in Denver. Jay Glazer of FOX SPORTS has announced that Giants Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will soon be interviewing with the Broncos this week for our Head Coaching vacancy.

It will be, per Glazer, an “informal” interview, due to the fact that Spagnuolo has committed to other interviews during the Giants’ playoff bye week. Spagnuolo is by far the most wanted candidate for every single Head Coaching vacancy in the NFL.

He has already interviewed with the Lions, Browns, and Jets.  Last year, he was considered for the Redskins’  job, but opted not to leave New York.

Also the Broncos will be interviewing Bucs Defensive Coordinator Raheem Morris according to Glazer. It will take place this Monday on the 5th. Raheem Morris recently replaced Monte Kiffin and the Broncos are interested in to fill the shoes of Mike Shanahan.

The question right now is whether Spagnuolo will take over both coaching and GM vacancies or just the coaching vacancy. Hiring both a GM and a Head Coach could be expensive with us due to pay Shanahan $21 million for 3 years unless he decides to coach for another team next year.
