Bitterness, and Bad Blood

December 23, 2008

Next week the Broncos and the Chargers will face each other in a dramatic Sunday Night Matchup. I have never seen two teams though with so much bad blood. The Broncos and the Chargers have always been rivals, and have never liked each other but nothing compares to what we are going to get the “pleasure” of seeing this week.

I’m sure we all remember that. You know, that little overrated punk Philip Rivers who has had a fantastic season but it hasn’t really added to the Chargers success. The Broncos remember this very clearly as it began a vicious rivalry with the two players and even more than that, the two teams.

You think that the first made us angry, what about this little incident by a certain Ed Hochuli. I am glad he made the wrong call, we won. But let’s face the facts, if the Chargers might have played better than that would have given them the win anyway. Never put yourself in a situation where a bad call could change the game. Had they played better on the ground, that would have won the game, had their defense played better, that would have won the game. Don’t blame the bad call.

A bit uncalled for?  You make the call. It is true though, Philip Rivers does not carry himself well and the Chargers should be ashamed of letting him do so. But they don’t care because the team itself is no better.

Can you guess that Philip Rivers wouldn’t rear his very ugly head again? Well he already has. He was the first to say when that he wasn’t elected to the Pro Bowl that he was much more worthy than Jay Cutler. Not Brett Favre, but Jay Cutler. Philip Rivers, get a freaking life. Realize that you are not as good as you think you are and that Jay Cutler is much better.

Now imagine all of this with the playoffs on the line. The winner goes to the playoffs, the loser does this. The Chargers don’t deserve it, they have won easy games against the Raiders and Chiefs. We lost those games but also won big ones against the likes of the Falcons and the Jets. Tough games. The Chargers don’t deserve it.

I’m fired up now, and ready to win this game. There could not be more bad blood or utter bitterness in a game like this. We need to win game and go the playoffs. Let’s have the playoff winner be 9-7 not a weak 8-8. We deserve it, we are better. Let’s go show the chargers that and kick their $@#!

The stats show that Rivers has been better this year than Cutler. Stats don’t lie… but the ultimate test is performance in big games. Watch Rivers come up big next sunday in primetime and watch Cutler choke away yet another Broncos postseason opportunity.

Do stats lie? How many times have you seen a player been drafted just because of their stats and end up being a bust. Stats don’t show leadership, game performances, and work ethic. Many people think that Joe Montana was a better QB than Marino because of his leadership. Also, Rivers, is going to go into this game cocky, and arrogant, that could lose him this game.

Everytime I hear some one even say his name (phillis) I get disgusted.

He killing the poll in BZ:

    Who is our biggest Rival?

    Philip Rivers (50%)

    Oakland Raiders (23%)

    The top two (35%)

    Al Davis (14%)

    Javon Walker (5%)

All I want for Christmas is for Elvis to tackle Rivers’ bad knee. Just think what a wonderful gift that would make for Christmas this year. Wait wait…. for the next few years!

For all of you little gay chargers fans out there I just wanted to let all of you know that Phillip Rivers SUCKS! Most of you like him because you have to since he’s your QB. The last actual good QB the Chargers have had is Drew Brees. But i will admit that Phillip Rivers can throw a football. ( For a little crybaby ) haha

Again, I have to point out that stats do in fact lie. Although Phillis has better numbers across the board, except total passing yards, he has had something on his side that Jay hasn’t had all season, save when Hillis was in and they won big games…the threat of running the ball. He has had to throw against teams that knew he had to throw it and could gameplan specifically to stop the pass. He still has numbers very close to Rivers, despite it all…Did I mention that Jay does all of this while managing his TYPE 1 DIABETES on the sideline? Jay Cutler has been the leader, the heart of the broncos all season, phillis does just enough for his team not to win. The Broncos have lost 8 tailbacks, 2 tight ends, 3 Linebackers, 1 safety and 2 cornerbacks yet they still boast a better record than the Chargers…San Diego fans have no room to talk crap about the Broncos or Jay Cutler.

Now I will be at the game so let’s go out and punch Rivers straight in is crap lousy face as often as possible…respect to the rest of the Chargers, Rivers is a huge douchebag!!!

phillis has LT, Darren Sproles, and Jacob Hester…
Jay has….ummm….Alex Haynes — A PRACTICE SQUAD PLAYER!
Phillip has Gates, and Vincent Jackson (jackson is overrated) and like a MILLION play-makers
Jay has Eddie Royal (ROOKIE) and Tony (been hurt) and Marsh (fumbles) and a good O-line

Our ‘D’ has lost like 6-7 starters, and our about 3rd string ‘D’ has been in just about ALL year.

While, the Chargers [stink’n] ‘D’ had (he got a boo-boo) the NFL’s leading sacker, and GREAT d-line and Jammer. and Cromartie! Dre’s good, but Champ is hurt

    Who’s better??

And about that ‘fumble’ you guys had 3 chances to stop us!
Two plays to get into the endzone, then a two-point-conversion-try! What’s the % of an NFL team making that!?

  10. December 24, 2008 7:39 AM

Well I do disagree that we have better Wide Receivers, but they have better Tight Ends, better Running Backs, and an equally good O=Line.

  11. December 24, 2008 9:11 AM

Well yeah our WR’s are better, but phillis’s aren’t bad

I think we can all agree that Jay Cutler is the better QB!

  13. December 24, 2008 5:51 PM

Jay Cutler went to the Pro Bowl
Cutler was air player of week, AFC West player of week, and more…

phillis ummm, what did he get? seriously did he get anything?

  14. December 26, 2008 6:53 AM

I disagree i think rivers is the better qb because with all that has happen to the chargers he still haves them 1 game from the afc west crown.

  15. December 26, 2008 8:36 AM

Thomas! Look at all that has happened to the Broncos, and Jay still has them on top of the AFC West!!!
