Former Titans Safety Signed By Broncos

September 1, 2008

More roster movement is happening in Denver today as the Broncos replace Josh Barrett on the roster. Today we took former Titans Safety Calvin Lowry of the waivers according to the Daily News Journal.

Believe it or not I have actually been a fan of Lowry in his time with the Titans. Or at least of fan of him when he played for Penn State.

He was drafted in 2006 by the Titans in the 4th round. Lowry was among the players released by the Titans on Saturday.

In his two years with the Titans Lowry had 62 tackles and two interceptions in 32 games with the Titans. He may not have much experience or done much in the NFL but it is still nice to have another quality Safety on the team.
