B-Marsh Appeals Suspension

August 26, 2008

Denver Broncos Wide Out Brandon Marshall was excused from practice early today to visit New York. Not for any trip but to appeal his suspension.

Marshall has been suspended 2-3 games by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for violation of the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.

He hopes to get the suspension reduced to a mere one game. That game would be against the Oakland Raiders which I do not think we are bad enough that we need Marshall to win it.

Though he may be back the next week against the Chargers where if he is not present we will lose. End of story. He is right now the biggest playmaker on offense and is a necessary component against the Chargers.

“Perhaps most promising to Marshall’s appeal is that Goodell will not be ruling over the decision himself, as originally thought. A group of NFL officials will examine Marshall’s case and make a decision regarding his status,” Bronco Talk’s Kyle Montgomery said about the suspension.
