Tyrone Poole Returns To Broncos

August 13, 2008

This morning the Denver Broncos signed CB Tyrone Poole who was a Denver Bronco for a short time in Denver in 2002.

The 13-year veteran most recently spent time with the Houston Texans in 2007. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. He has also spent time with the Patriots, Panthers, and Colts.

I don’t feel very strong about this move because honestly it will not have much of an impact on this team. Though I do not understand why we are addressing the CB issue so much. It makes no sense. We are fine in depth and talent there.

Yesterday the Broncos signed Wale Dada which was already weird. The only reason that I would understand this is if they wanted to improve their Special Teams.

I have nothing against either player but I wish we would focus on the worse positions such as Linebacker and Defensive Line. With the injuries at SAM, we could use some more depth there. It will be interesting to see what they bring this week in Dallas. Remember that we will be covering the whole game.
