Around the NFL with Sonny Anderson

June 27, 2008

Hey everyone! I haven’t put up a post lately because I have been a little busy with some stuff.

I am going to start of this week’s Around the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers trading the Oakland Raiders for Barry Sims. Barry received many other offers, but chose the 49ers because of its closeness to his home and how much of an effect he could be. He will have some competition for the OL spot and will be competing with Jonas Jennings.

The Detroit Lions are having a little trouble with their top draft pick. Their top draft pick Gosder Cherilus will have 1 year of probation and the Lions will have to play $52,000 in medical expenses. There was an assault and battery charge in a bar brawl in 2007.

And finally it will be really hard for Giants fans to get season tickets this year in their new stadium. They say season tickets can range from $1,000 to $20,000. I guess you might as well buy regular tickets to see your favorite team.

Anyway that’s all for today guys! I will try to get something up next week despite the news being slow as molasses.
