Former Bronco Turns Down Contract Offer

April 12, 2008

Al Wilson since his devestating neck injury has not been a Denver Bronco. It has so far been hard for him trying to get back into the NFL.

Though yesterday it might have changed when Al Wilson was given a job offer from the Cleveland Browns. It would give him the chance to play with some great linebacker corps including D’Qwell Jackson, Kamerion Wimbly, and Andra Davis.

The offer was a minimum salary of $730,000.

Though he turned down the offer with the thought that it was too little for a former team captain and Pro Bowler.

So right now Al Wilson is firm that he is worth more than that. We give him our best wishes as long time fans. We’ll see how long until he decides he cna’t get anything more than that.
