I Have A Good Nickname For This Guy

February 27, 2008

That title has barely anything to do with this post. I will give you the nickname later so read on. But the Broncos have chosen their new receivers coach with of course the help of Mike Shanahan. Jedd Fisch a former offensive assistant to the Baltimore Ravens has come to the Broncos to coach Brandon Marshall and the rest of the gang at wide receivers.

He used to be quarterback assistant at Baltimore so therefore he knows the passing game well. He also knows the different types of QB’s. He and the Ravens played 3 QB’s last year including former Pro Bowler Steve McNair.

According to the Rocky Mountain News he “earned a a bachelor’s degree in criminology and a master’s in sports management at the University of Florida. He spent a year as wide receivers/quality control coach for the Arena Football League’s New Jersey Red Dogs in 1998.”

He seems somewhat solid to me and it will be interesting what he does with our passing game. He sure is taking an important role with a developing Jay Cutler By the way my nickname for him which I promised previously is……..

Fisch the Fish. (Okay maybe it’s not that good) šŸ™‚
